I find an interesting use of the colon in these verses. If you look up the colon in terms of punctuation on wikipedia it indicates in one section that the colon introduces the logical consequence of the fact stated before the colon. By restoring my soul, the Lord is able to lead me in paths of righteousness. Through goodness & mercy following me all of my days, I will be able to dwell with the Lord forever. Logical.
He really does love us. He is cheering for us every day. I know this.
